Charter Haiku and explore the incredible biodiversity of Costa Rica from our 44’ Kantola Trimaran. We offer sunset tours and day sailing packages with a wide variety of activities including tours of the Golfo Dulce, Cabo Matapalo jungle tour, Casa Orquidea botanical garden, whale and pelagic bird watching, scuba diving, snorkeling, surf charters, rainforest hikes, with a little luck you might even swim with dolphins,  you can also fish for dorado, wahoo, snook, rooster fish, jacks and more.   Another option would be to take our ponga tour through the mangroves for bird watching, a little fishing or to a close beach or island for the day. 

Haiku was designed for a fast comfortable ride and the ability to navigate waters that other sailboats cannot, making her a perfect choice for adventure sailing.

Panama offers wonderful anchorages in quiet coves of uninhabited islands, explore natural parks only accessible by boat, snorkel at coral reefs or dive for fresh seafood. Take the launch ashore to sunbathe on a deserted beach then enjoy sundowners and a bonfire barbeque. Whatever your choice it will make for an unforgettable cruising experience! English speaking captain & crew are dedicated to making your cruise a memorable experience.

The best months for long distance sailing charters are November through June although most months are fine depending on what part of the country you are in. We can meet your group anywhere on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica or Panama. By taking advantage of this you can maximize your time a your desired locations ending your trip in Golfito.

Once you have your destination in mind and the itinerary planned out you can fly from any airport to our location or we have a bi-lingual driver with an 8 passenger mini van that can take you to where Haiku will pick you up. (less expensive than air fare and you can experience the highland rainforests of Costa Rica or the various regions of Panama.)  

Guests decide on meal times and type of food (clients with special dietary requirements need to indicate that at the time of booking)  Meals, coffee, tea, juice, soft drinks and sundowners are included in the rate.

We can and will create any type of tour and or destination.  Just pick your destination and we will take care of all the details:  Golfo Dulce, Golfo Nicoya, Panama, etc.

What to Bring: Comfortable clothing, strap sandals, hiking or sneakers shoes, mosquito repellent, sun block, sunglasses, raincoat or poncho, binoculars, camera, plastic bags, extra water bottle, dry clothes to change into, and towel. And don't forget your prescribed medicine if you take any.

Current immigration laws now require that you have at least 6 months remaining before the expiration of your passport to enter either Panama or Costa Rica.
